Krista McCracken is a public history professional, currently working in the role of Researcher/Curator. Thinking outside of the traditional confines of history is what initially attracted her to Public History. She adamantly believes that addressing the past from unique perspectives and focusing on accessibility should be key points in any history based project.
Krista is interested in nontraditional means of education, collective memory, and the impact of digital technology on public history. Some of Krista's more traditional historical interests include rural history, Northern Ontario, and First Nation-Settler relations.
